I have looked high and low for a cream pitcher with a lid.No where to be found , my cousin Bobbi said she did not believe she had ever seen one and she is an antique dealer, so she had her eye out also. Guess who found one??? Auntie Linda from an antique store in KY .I am so thrilled I just had to show it off...I can't wait for someone to visit that needs a dab of cream in their coffeee or tea, wanna come visit??

2007 Snow

Here is our results of the storm. No snow for the rest of the week but the downside temp will not get above freezing..none of this snow will probably melt until Spring and if another storm comes oh my!!

A visit from Rhi

Rhi, loves to play in her bedroom, the only problem it is upstairs. When Rhi and Scarlett are about 4 and 5 yrs. they can go upstairs to sleep and play..We plan to put a TV in their setting room for games and such..So I expect it will not look so neat!

Rhiannon and Scarlett's bedroom and sitting room

The theme for this room started with the handmade sunflower throw my mother made years ago.
The bedstead I bought at a secondhand store for 3.00 added mattress and boxsprings..The antique Chest was in the house Emmy and Tatum live I painted to match the bed and added new pulls. The cedar chest is Sherry's ole hope chest LOL!! Yep I painted it too and recovered the top.
The little desk was an old handmade end table Al cut the legs off to the correct height,I painted added the flowers. The matching chair is an antique I aquired in Texas, and recaned. The little stool was painted to match the chair and desk.
The sofa in the setting room is from my mother I removed the skirt and painted/ coffeetable also...I need to add new sofa pillows..it's on my things to do.The bookcase is a find from a garage sale painted to match the other items in the room.
The cane chair I've had for years.I am happy with the results mostly because none of the furniture cost much money,it was fun, love bargins and I made Rhiannon a happy girl!!
